A mid-latitude auroral activity WATCH has been issued for the next 72 hours. Conditions could become favorable for the development of mid-latitude auroral activity during the next 72 hours following the eruption of several solar flares from an active solar region. We do not expect significant auroral storming, and the influence of the moon will dampen visible activity. Nevertheless, the potential exists for mid-latitude sightings during the next 3 days.
